"New" drawings

I have been drawing a lot lately. But I have shared almost nothing! My excuse? Pure and complete laziness. Gotta be honest, here. :D

But anyways, here are a few :

I did this one the other day. I tried using my prismacolor pencils on black paper for the first time. It turned out .... interesting. I think the only good thing about it is the colorful hair, lol.

And here is Rapunzel. (Not sure if I shared this before, but if I did, sorry). 

 Here is my favorite. 

Here is the poor sketch that put me on the drawing craze. 

And here is one with water color pencils (Prismacolor) that my bestie let me borrow. Well, I thought that this would be pretty easy when my friend first let me borrow them, but.... it is not. :(  I'm still as bad as painting as ever. I would absolutely love to try oil painting, though. I never have tried it, but it sounds like so much fun.

And I saved this one for last....

So... yeah; I'm still alive.

You thought you got rid of me, huh? Well you thought wrong. I'm back. And I'm even worse than you remembered.......

Lol, I'm not even sure what I'm talking about right now... haha, I guess we all are kinda confused. At least no one has any unfair advantage, right? Right.

The point is, I'm back.

So I'm really behind on everything, but I think I will finish off my little 'Camping' series before I move on, so here are the last of them! We'z just goofing off      =)    [also, I'm not sure what pics I have posted already and what I have not, so forgive me if I share a pic I already have!]

 We tried my timer on my camera (which I love!) and did those jumping pictures. Or at least tried to! Lol, we didn't always get off the ground, and when we did, there was always one of us who did not.... haha, here are our attempts!

oh, and on this one, THE ONE TIME Jackson made air....... NO ONE ELSE DID!!! Sigh.... ;)

Oh, and I kinda forgot I set my camera to take multiple pics, so I started to walk over and thennnn... oops!

 So I tried to play it cool!

 And run back.

 This next set is my favorites. Actually, they are all my favorites! We are such idiots!

 Don't ask what I was doing.... I don't even know...

 This last one is prob my fave, because we are all laughing, and it's real laughter, too. (See last pic to know what we're laughing at!!)  I just wish Becca was more in the picture, though. That's the only thing I am said about.

And here are my three oldest younger sibs :)   [if that was a confusing sentence, then let me rephrase: here are three of my younger sibs. Is that better?]

 

That was a very fun camping trip. Like. . . VERY FUN. I enjoyed it emensely, and I will remember it for forever and love it :)

Why I am renaming my blog

Like I said in my last post, I am renaming my blog to something that is better and fits me and it better. I gave it a lot of thought, and finally came up with a name.

Hearts that Whisper


Why did I chose that name? Because orphans hearts whisper to me. They speak to me, crying out to be heard. Silently screaming for help, attention, and love.  I love children. I love orphans. And their hearts whisper to me.

 

Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression,

bring justice to the fatherless,

plead the widows cause.   

Isaiah 1:17   

And I wonder... how could anyone NOT love them? Why are they so ignored? People care more about the health of their stupid pet than they care about a love-starving, dying child. Do people really not realize how much orphans need their help? Someone to speak up for them? Shelter them? Love them?



What's not to love???? They are beautiful. They are human beings. With souls.

And I love them.

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this:

to visit orphans and widows in their affliction,

and to keep oneself unstained from the world. 

James 1:27

New Blog Name???

Hey, everyone! So I'm really sick of my blog name. It's kind of weird.... And I'm not sure it makes any sense! (Except in my own brain.)

So..... I want to change it. Any suggestions?
