December

Eeyore:

December is dreary,

The sun goes away.

Clouds in the sky,

It's Rain's turn to play.

Mud on my shoes,

Sleet on my back,

Hair in my eyes because

The wind attacks.

Christmas? Bah, Humbug!

Leave me alone.

Keep your cheer to yourself,

I don't need none.

Pooh:

December is lovely.

Snow blankets the ground

The birds are all hushed;

No one makes a sound.

Under my boots

Crunch! Goes the snow

Snow on pink tongues and

On cheeks that glow.

Carolers are singing

'Silent Night'.

Because Jesus has come,

And he is the Light.

Okay, so do you guys like it when I act like a total moron and make up a bunch of random stuff that barely even rhymes and all that??

Lol.

Okay, I will try not to be so dumb anymore, but sometimes I just can't help it.  :D

One Lovely Blog

Picture Made by Rose

Hi!! ( I just realized I start a lot of posts by saying "hi".....) I was awarded by June from the blog A Curious Pisces.

Rules:

1: Thank the person who nominated you and include a link to their blog.
2: List the rules and display the award.
3: Add seven facts about yourself.
4: Nominate 15 other bloggers.
5: Follow on blogger the person who nominated you.

Seven Facts on Myself (I know, boring, right?)

1: I love the ocean.

2: I am pretty shy and stuff, but if you get to know me super well, I can be really weird and probably not the type of person you expected at all.

3: I want like, at least 14 children when I'm grown up and married. I love children so much!!!

4: I love drawing people. Men, women, children; all of them.

5: I could never live without my family. I love them all to death.

6: I am like, the most awkward person ever. I mean, I know a lot of people say that about themselves, but usually they are like, the 'good' kind of awkward. I'm just... the awkward.... type of awkward.....   =)

7: I tear my finger nail skin and finger nails off. It's kind of an obsessive habit I started when I was young, and now I can't stop it, and I guess I never will. I hate it, because it ruins my hands and makes me bleed, but somehow it's something I love at the same time. I just can't stop.

Alright, the Nominated People :

Annie, from Small Town Girl

Ellia, from My Life as a Russian Spy

Rachelle, from Beloved Bluebird

 Rebekah, from Found and Cherished

Jaime, from Diligently Waiting

Amelia Grace, from Amelia Grace

Willa Nicole, from Willa Nicole Scribblings

Alicia, from Surrendering All of Me

Elisabeth, from A Flyleaf

Pricilla, from Once Upon a Rainbow

Aaliyah, from Growing In His Image

Anna, from Hero

Okay, so I don't have anyone else to nominate, so I'm bending the rules a little bit  =)  Oh, well; who cares?

Special thanks to June (A Curious Pisces) for nominating me! It was fun, so thanks.

My Family in Gifs!

I decided to do my family in gif form, here are a few to start off ( I have too many family members to throw them all out there at once.)

 Dad:

One time when my Dad was mad he swung a chair over his head and accidentally bashed it right into the fan and broke a light. So this gif reminds me of him,  =)

Hello everyone. Remember me?

Hi.

I haven't been blogging lately.

Oh, I know what you're thinking.  "Really?! Why, thank you, Captain Obvious! What would we do without you?"

Me: *Bows*  "Thank you, thank you very much. You're too kind. Anytime, ya'll. Anytime."

Anyways, I haven't been blogging because I got a job. Mmmhmm. I started working at a place where we build circuit boards... or whatever. I don't know technical names. What do I look like? Someone who works there? Oh.... I am.... Well, then.

Anyways, even though I only work three days a week, I still feel like I'm very busy. At least, during the week I am. Because on the two days I'm not working, I'm doing school. However, I'm not really busy during the weekends. After all, I spent hours at a time reading the entire Divergent book Saturday and today. I hadn't read it before, so a new friend I've made let me borrow the series. One book down, two to go! But I think I'll only have time on the weekends, so this will take me three or so weeks to read them all.

I'm not really.... sure what I'm even blogging about right now. It's weird and random. And probably boring you guys.

More exciting news, (for me, anyways), however, is that I got my driver's license on Wednesday! Yay! I was nervous, but I passed. Also, I guess I shouldn't be so abrupt with my stops. The lady who took me groaned at every stop sign/light! But hey, my instructor told me that the testers (what is their technical name?) wanted to feel the car settle down when I stop to prove that I wasn't doing a California stop. Well, I made that car settle down alright! Made it rock reeeealllll good.

Sorry, lady-that-I-made-groan-in-pain. I was simply making sure you knew I was stopping.

Okay, so this was all just a weird ramble. I am sorry.  :(

I will try to blog more frequently. I will make the time. I promise.

Okay, no promises I can't keep. But I will TRY! Just no promises.

Anyways, goodbye.

Sorry, not listening

Sometimes I literally have three people talking to me at once, all of them saying different things. That's what happens when you have seven siblings. A lot of voices. All trying to say their own thing.

You know, I like to think I'm good at listening to all three of my younger siblings* at once. I mean, I've had a lot of practice, ya know?  Well, okay, so maybe I'm good at it, and maybe I'm not. But there is one thing I AM good at.

Not listening.

Uh, huh. You know, like the "I'm listening to you, but I'm really not listening to you," kind of deal. Yeah.... Like, I don't even have to try to make it look real!!! Which is bad, because that means I do it all the time, but sometimes I really can't help it! Someone starts talking to me, and I hear, like, the first two words, and it all starts going over my head and I'm thinking of something totally different. And then the person finishes what they are saying, and maybe I catch the last word or two, and I'm like,

Riiiiiiiiight, totally got what you were saying there. Listened to every word.

Nope.

And you know what?! It works! Like, they all think I was giving them such intent attention, and everything. And I wasn't. My mind was elsewhere.

Recently however, my younger sister Rebecca and younger brother Joe both caught me doing this multiple times to them.... I guess I got lazy and didn't make my face look all studied and all that enough..... And they got suspicious and realized that I do that all the time. And they got a little angry, lol.

But I don't do it on purpose!!! It's something that just happens! It's not until the end of the sentence/paragraph/conversation/etc. that I notice I have no idea what's going on. And then I have to quickly analyze what little information I gathered and quickly come up with a good and fitting response that probably will fit the situation. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Or there's those times when someone's being really boring, and I'm not really paying a whole lot of attention, so at the end I'm just like,

So I guess I should work on stopping this. Because this habit is very very rude. Like, VERY rude.

So the next time you try to tell me some story or something, and I'm just like,

Slap me in the face.

Because I didn't hear a word.

Sincerely,

Samantha

*three younger siblings meaning, the three oldest of the youngest four.

Oh, and P.S. Please don't slap me in the face. Because that might hurt.

Favorite Movie Characters #2, Realistic

So I still want to finish this "series" that I started, like, a million years ago. So here is the next part; Favorite Movie Characters #2, Realistic:
*Please note: These are not in order!!!

#1:  Napoleon Dynamite.

2:  Mr. Darcy

Also my mom and my sister insist that this version of Mr. Darcy is ugly. UGLY!!! How could they say that???? They are clearly delirious. Because Mr. Darcy. is. not. ugly.

3: Katniss Everdeen.

Okay, so I've only seen the first movie, and read the first book, but that doesn't mean I can't think she's awesome even though I've only seen/read the first one. I really can hardly wait to see/read the rest!!!

Eh, I'm kinda tired now, and my brain is trying to tell me that I have watched no movies, therefore I have not favorite characters..... I hate it when my brain lies to me.

Also, these are just random people I like. Not necessarily  my favorites. So perhaps the title to this post is also a lie.

There seems to be a lot of lying in this post.... my brain.... this title.... what next?

So goodbye. Sorry for the random weirdness. All for now, I promise.

Movie Quote Competition

Hey, everyone! So I was thinking that I would really love to do a movie quote contest where you guess what the movie quote is!

Here are the rules:

1: Read the movie quote and guess and label your answers in the comments section.
2: You CAN NOT try to look up the quotes online!!! You must guess them by yourself. However, if you think you know what the quote is and are not sure or something like that, you can re-watch movies to see if you can find the quote!
3: Also you can change your answers multiple times in the comments section if you either come up with a different answer or add to your answers.
4: For every movie quote you guess, it's one point. Also two extra points if you can guess who is saying the quote.
5: While you cannot look up the quote online and stuff, you CAN ask family members to help if you want.

Alright, so here are the movie quotes!

1: "You stink. You smell like beef and cheese! You don't smell like Santa."

2: "Enjoy the attention while it lasts, boys. After you lose, no one will remember you."
"Maybe. But when you lose, no one will let you forget it."

3: "This is crazy. I finally meet my childhood hero and he's trying to kill us. What a joke."

4: "Look, I think it's only fair to warn you that I am practiced in the ancient art.... of Origami!"
"Paper folding?"
"Oh.... I was hoping you didn't know what that was."

5: "Anything to declare?"
"I hate you."
"I get that a lot."

6: "I can't compete with you physically, and you're no match for my brains."
"You're that smart?"
"Let me put it this way. Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?"
"Yes."
"Morons."

7: "Now, your thinkin'  about this all wrong. It's not so much as what you LOOK like, it's what's INSIDE he can't stand."
"Thank you for summing that up....."

8: "I want to do something for her..... but what?"
"Well, there's the usual things: flowers.... chocolates.....promises you don't intend to keep....."

9: "Will you read us a bedtime story?"
"No."
"Pretty please?"
"The physical appearance of the please makes no difference."

Alright, that's all. Have fun guessing!

Drawings

I promised my friend I would put up these pictures last night because she hadn't seen them yet and wanted to....  but I failed.  :(

Here they are tonight:

Alright, so originally I was drawing Mr. Darcy (2005), but it didn't turn out right, so I changed it up and just pretended I wasn't drawing him.... :)

Also, this next one is (supposed to be) Loki, and I give total blame to his not-looking-like-Loki onto my brother Nick. Because he moved out I can no longer have him criticize my drawings! How am I supposed to get a second opinion on things when he isn't around?! Yep, it's totally his fault.  (jk)

Well, that's all I've drawn for now, and I think I'm a little burnt out. So I'm not sure if I will draw much more for quite a while. Also, my life just got super busy, so..... yeah.

Goodbye!

Crashing Waves

This beach was particularly beautiful. We went there for the tide pools, but it turned out to not be a good one for that. It was pretty, anyways.

Beautiful Ocean

We went to the Ocean. It was beautiful. I could totally live there. Like, seriously. If the ocean asked me to marry him, I would say yes.

(P.S. I'm kidding. I know I can't marry the ocean. Sadly.... boo hoo!)
